3-Point Moiunted Disc Mowers Available in five sizes, from the compact 5’ 6” Model 5406 to the big 10’ 4” Model 5410, New Idea disc mowers take on tall, tangled thick stands at speeds other mowers can’t match. The modular-cutterbed, bevel-gear design, which features a full-length broach and segmented hex driveshaft, reduces wear and tear on the drive components, while using less horsepower for lower operating costs. We didn’t forget safety, either. A special breakaway feature allows the cutterbar to automatically pivot rearward when it contacts an obstruction. Thanks to the fixed-chamber design, 4800 bales are breathable on the inside, yet dense and weather-resistant on the outside. New Idea 4800 Series balers aren’t short on features, either. Variable Chamber Round Baler New Idea 6400 Series round balers incorporate a long list of amenities that make short work of solid, high-density bales. It all starts with a wide, low-profile pickup assembly to gather large and wind-blown windrows. A special set of stuffer fingers further ensure smooth feeding to the open-throat, vertical bale chamber. For the ultimate in convenience, a self-contained hydraulic system on the 6464 and 6465 automatically wraps the bale, disengages the drive, ejects the bale and re-engages the drive with the touch of a single button.
