Pequea

Pequea [peck-way] Machine Inc. was founded by a local Amish farmer who wanted to dry his hay quicker. He started to build a fluffer tedder (the precursor to the models 710 and 910) on his farm located along the Pequea Creek in the Pequea Valley in Gordonville, Lancaster County, PA.

It was a long held local belief that Pequea is a Native American name that roughly translated to "Straight Arrow", hence the Pequea logo with the arrow design.

Spreaders

Model 125 (90 cu. ft. capacity)
Model 175 (126 cu. ft. capacity)

With up to a 175 bushel capacity, Pequea manure spreaders are designed to withstand the demands of today's small farm. The manure spreader boxes are constructed of fully welded Cor-ten steel in 125 and 175 bushel capacity. Our large PTO model manure spreaders include 2 speed gearboxes, with a neutral and cleanout setting.

Pequea manure spreaders have a wide and even spread pattern with eight aggressive beaters engineered for maximum application. The beaters are constructed of durable ¼" steel and are detachable for easy replacement if necessary. A standard independent dual drive and a lifetime guaranteed poly lumber floor come standard on all Pequea manure spreaders and deliver the utmost in dependable operation and durability.

Separate controls operate the web and beaters and, as is true of all Pequea spreaders, they are equipped with "T-Rod" web chain, with three times the fatigue life of other chains. Other standard features include a patented top-wind swing away jack and pin hitch.

Pequea manure spreader options include fine spread pans, top beaters, and hydraulic end gates.
